What's included in the Comfort Club

  • Two precision tune-ups per year

Two visits a year to clean and check your system, including indoor coils, blower wheels, drains and filters on split AC and central systems.

  • Salt-rinse of your outdoor coil

Every tune-up includes a freshwater rinse of the outdoor condenser coil to wash away salt and grime — important for coastal and trade-wind-exposed homes.

  • Priority scheduling

Members move ahead of non-member calls on our schedule, so you're not waiting in line during the hottest week of the year.

  • Member repair discount

Save on repairs to the systems covered by your membership.

  • Diagnostic fee waived or discounted

When something goes wrong, your diagnostic fee is waived or discounted.

  • Maintenance reminders

We reach out when your next tune-up is due and schedule it around your calendar.

Why Oahu AC Needs Regular Care

Air conditioning on Oahu works hard. Systems run most of the year, humidity keeps coils and drains wet, salt air corrodes outdoor units and vog clogs filters. Skip maintenance and the problems show up fast: musty smells, water leaks, weak cooling and higher power bills.

Oahu electricity averaged about 43¢ per kWh — roughly 2.3 times the U.S. average — so a dirty system is an expensive system. The Comfort Club puts maintenance on autopilot so your AC stays clean and efficient.

What Every Comfort Club Tune-Up Includes

Each precision tune-up is built for the way AC fails in Hawaii. On split AC and mini-split systems, we clean the indoor coil and blower wheel, flush and treat the drain line and check for mold. On central systems, we check the air handler, coil, drain pan and filters. Every visit also includes:

  • Freshwater salt-rinse of the outdoor condenser coil
  • Refrigerant pressure and temperature checks
  • Electrical connection tightening and capacitor testing
  • Condensate drain flush and treatment
  • Filter cleaning or replacement
  • Thermostat and remote check
  • A written report with photos

Need a deeper clean?

If a split AC is heavily soiled or growing mold inside the blower, a full split AC cleaning may be the right first step. We'll let you know during your first visit.

Who the Comfort Club Is For

If your system is newer, regular maintenance also gives you a service record in case you ever need to make a warranty claim. Check your manufacturer warranty for its maintenance requirements.

  • Homeowners with split AC who want to prevent musty smells, leaks and mold
  • Coastal homes in areas like Ewa Beach, Hawaii Kai and Kailua where salt air takes a toll
  • Families and kupuna who can't go without cooling
  • Landlords and rental owners who want fewer tenant calls
  • Anyone who forgets maintenance until something breaks

Why Two Tune-Ups a Year on Oahu

On the mainland, many homeowners get by with one AC check a year. On Oahu, systems run far more hours, and humidity, salt and vog build up faster. Two visits a year keeps coils and drains from getting to the point where they cause leaks, smells or breakdowns.

Split AC heads are the biggest reason. The indoor coil and blower wheel stay damp for most of the year, which is exactly what mold and slime like. Cleaning them twice a year keeps the air fresher and the system moving the airflow it was designed for.

Outdoor units benefit too. A regular salt-rinse slows corrosion on fins and coils, especially for homes near the shoreline or in the path of the trade winds.

How Comfort Club Membership Works

Membership is one low monthly price and covers the systems listed on your plan. We schedule your first tune-up when you join, then contact you when the next one is due.

Covered systems, cancellation terms and how each benefit works are spelled out in your membership agreement before you sign up. If you have several systems, we'll confirm exactly what your plan covers.

Comfort Club vs. Pay-As-You-Go

You can always book AC maintenance one visit at a time. The Comfort Club makes sense if you want two visits a year without thinking about it, plus faster service and savings when something does go wrong.

If a repair comes up, members get the same clear repair-or-replace advice as everyone else, with member pricing on the repair. Need a fix now? See AC repair, or check our current offers.
